HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 2012!!!
Due to the low number of teams that signed up for the 2011 races, we have decided to cancel this year's event. Most of the teams that we spoke to said it was too difficult to get their team organized in such a short time window. We have much interest for having an event in 2012, so we have already picked the date. Please mark your calendars for Saturday, August 11, 2012.
ABOUT PFL
Paddle for Life is a non-profit organization that helps raise
money and awareness for community causes through the fast
growing sport of dragon boating. The all-inclusive sport of
dragon boating is great way for family, friends, and co-workers to
experience a great sport while fundraising. Our goal is to spread
dragon boating to new communities while raising money and
awareness for great charities in the process. Paddle for Life is a
501(c)3 non-profit.
ABOUT CHARITY
Children's Service Society of Wisconsin, a member of Children's
Hospital and Health System, is the state's largest private,
not-for-profit provider of child welfare services. Our offices are
located throughout the state of Wisconsin.
Children's Service Society has a 120-year history, working with families to:

Find loving, stable homes for children in need of a family through foster care and adoption.
- Reduce stress and conflict, enhance parenting skills and strengthen family ties through counseling.
- Provide services to children in out-of-home care, advocating for their safety, well-being and timely reunification with birthparents whenever possible.
- Provide foster parents who are caring for children with special medical or emotional needs a much needed break through our Respite Care program.
- Offer free, confidential and supportive guidance to help parents dealing with an unplanned pregnancy.
- Provide Intensive In-home Therapy to keep children safe in their homes and prevent out-of-home placement.
Assist
young adults transitioning out of foster care by giving them the
skills, training, guidance and support enabling them to make it on their
own.- Provide parents with support and guidance to help them be the best parents they can be.
- Provide children who have been harmed or hurt a safe place to
go to be interviewed and provide them resources to help them heal
through our Child Advocacy Centers.

Children's Service Society of Wisconsin is a private, not-for-profit
agency serving children and families in Wisconsin since 1889. The
mission of Children's Service Society is to build, sustain and enhance a
nurturing environment for Wisconsin children.
